Robert W. English Jr., 95, lifelong resident of Clarendon passed away on October 8, 2021. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Jo Claire English. He is survived by his sons, Robert (Lorraine) English III of Madison, AL, Jere (Beverly) English of Little Rock, six grandchildren, Rob (Allison) English of Madison, AL, Bailey (Eric) McDonald of Hendersonville, TN, and Cory English of Winston-Salem, NC, Mason (Kiersten) English of Fayetteville, AR, and Molly English and Carson English of Little Rock, AR, two great grandchildren Wil English and James English of Madison, AL.

Bob was a WWII Navy veteran, a lifetime member of the American Legion, an Elder in the Presbyterian Church, and a long-time member of the Lions Club. He owned a grocery store for several years and was a partner at the local Ford Dealership. He loved to play golf, dance to big band music and enjoy his grandchildren. Bob had a servants heart and was always ready to help others in any way he could.

Visitation: 2:00 pm with services beginning at 3:00 pm, Wednesday October 13 at First Presbyterian Church in Clarendon. Memorials: Shady Grove Cemetery, PO Box 194, Clarendon, AR 72029.
