Veronica Lynn Stewart, 55, of Ottumwa, died at 11:25 p.m. September 26, 2021 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
She was born May 14, 1966 in Anchorage, AK to Gary and Laura Hanson Bleything. Veronica married Harold Dwaine Stewart on August 30, 1986.
A 1984 graduate of Ottumwa High School, she went to Indian Hills Community College to become a machinist.
Veronica enjoyed cooking, crafts and horseback riding.
Surviving is her husband, Harold; their children, Colt (Kerrie) Stewart, Kelsey (Joe) Bibby and Jack Stewart all of Ottumwa; step-children, Chrissy, Stephanie (Leon) Stewart and Amy; 6 grandchildren; her mother, Laura Sue Mitchell of Ottumwa; siblings, Phillip Bleything and Erin Mitchell both of Ottumwa; step-sisters, Brenda and Julie; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gary Bleything and a brother, Adam Mitchell.
Her body has been cremated and no services are planned. Memorials may be made to the family.
