Patricia J. Izard Edwards, 91, of Wichita Falls peacefully went to be with her Heavenly Father October 10, 2021.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Patricia was born April 27, 1930 in Duncan, Oklahoma to Jack and Mary Izard. She graduated from Duncan High School in 1948 where she was a twirler in their high school band. She met the love of her life, George Robert Edwards, later that year and after only 6 weeks of dating, they eloped and were married December 11, 1948.
Patricia and George were very active in Westside Baptist Church where they were faithful members for many years, and then later at Western Hills Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Patricia is survived by a brother, Norman Izard of Weslaco, Texas; and sons, Tony Edwards of Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Rory Edwards and wife, Carla of Henrietta, Texas; grandchildren Lance Edwards of Odessa, Texas, Carl Edwards of Bluegrove, Texas and Jenna Sutton of Henrietta, Texas; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Patricia's name to Hospice of Wichita Falls.
