Paul Eugene Wood 80 of Van Buren passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021 in his home.

He is retired from Frisco-Burlington Northern Railroad and a member of 88th Freewill Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ralph Jr. and Thelma (Riggs) Wood; his sister and brother-in-law Bonnie and Carl Brammer; his son-in-law Rob Gillet.

Funeral service will be at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Ocker Memorial Chapel in Van Buren with burial at Mt. McCurry Cemetery in Rudy under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

He is survived by his wife Lorna (Gentry) Wood of the home; two daughter Tammy Gillet, Christie Barker and husband Glendall all of Van Buren; one son Anthony Cox and wife Therease of Van Buren; one sister Fran Orrick of Alma; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Austin Gillet, Brent Barker, Dale Gentry, Roger Masters, Lee Brammer, Carlton Brammer, Glendall Barker, Walter Max Gentry and Wayne Gentry.
Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Gillet, Jack Masters, DeWayne Johns, Addison Kilgore and Jerry Gentry.
