Denine Terese Dostine, known to most as Dee, died peacefully surrounded by the love of her family on May 9, 2021. She fought a courageous battle and now has won victory with her Lord and Savior. She was 62 years of age.

Dee was born in Royal Oak, Michigan on September 21, 1958, and raised in Fraser Michigan, daughter of Denis and Constance (Smolinski) Dostine. Her personality was larger than life, which led her to the restaurant industry. Dee was the Manager of Gabriel's Lounge for 17 years. She was always true to herself, never changed who she was for anyone and we all knew where we stood with Dee. She made the best stuffed cabbage and shared it with many. She enjoyed writing poetry and loved gardening. Dee always looked forward to her trips to the casino and walked away lucky many times. She will always be known for her smile that would light up the room and her hardworking and self-sufficient ways. Although we grieve her passing, we are truly grateful for our beautiful Dee who taught us to live life with purpose, with love and compassion. She will be deeply missed and her light will continue to glow in our hearts forever.

Dee is the loving daughter of Connie and the late Denis; cherished sister of David (Helen) Dostine, Debra (Mark) Zelek, Dona (Fred) MacAuley, Daniel Dostine, Anthony (Linda) Dostine; Patricia (Gjon) Gjokaj and Barbara (Mike) Russell; and adored aunt to many nieces and nephews.
