Sandra M Wallace, 73, of North Platte, passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Linden Court in North Platte..

She was born on January 4, 1948 to Edward Gustau and Tana Glendora (Edelman) Brennemann at Alliance, NE., Sandy was the eldest of three children.

Sandy Graduated from Hyannis High School in 1966 and then went on to Patricia Stevens Career College in Denver, Co. In the Fall of 1973, Sandy enlisted in the U.S. Air Force as a Maintenance Technician and was stationed at Laughlin Air Base in Del Rio, Texas. After six years of active duty, Sandy made a change to Civil Service as an Air Craft Scheduler for flight maintenance until her retirement on October 31, 2008, with the exception of a couple of years in the 80's when they returned to Hyannis to manage the Sandhills Tack Shop. Then returning to Del Rio, Texas until August of 2014 at which time she moved back to Nebraska and settled in North Platte to be closer to family.

It was in Del Rio that Sandy met her husband of 30 plus years, James R Wallace. Sandy and James were united in marriage on December 26, 1976 in Hyannis, Ne.

Sandy will be remembered as always having a book she was reading, a puzzle she was putting together and an avid sports fan, especially baseball. She was also the best procrastinator you may ever meet.

Her parents, as well as her husband, Jim Wallace, preceded her in death.

Sandy's hugs and smiles will be missed by her brothers, John (Delores) Brennemann of Hyannis and Doug (Nicki) Brennemann of Sutherland; Jim's children, Robin (Barbara) Wallace of Texas, Gretchen Masiello of New Yourk, Chris (Meg) Wallace of Florida, and James Wallace of Germany; Nephews Bruce (Angel) Brennemann of Curtis, NE.. Brian (Sarah) Brennemann of Hyannis, Nicholas (Allison) Brennemann of Wyoming, and Jonathan (Sheldon) Brennemann of Wisconsin.
