Gertrude E. Baker, age 77, of Columbus, died Monday November 15, 1993 at home. Born September 1, 1916 in Philadelphia, Pa. Daughter of the late John and Mae (Kelly) Adams. Preceded in death by son Paul and sister Kathryn Morin. Survived by husband, Joseph Baker, whom she married January 15 (17), 1953 in Philadelphia; children, Lisa Baker, Joseph (Pamela) Baker Jr., all of Columbus, John (Karen) Baker, Kokomo, Ind., Claire (Mark) Allen, Honolulu, Hawaii, Katherine Baker, Columbus; grandchildren, Paul, Cristin and Ryan Baker, Columbus, Laura and Sarah Baker, Kokomo, Ind., Jennifer, Kyle and Katherine Allen, Honolulu. Also survived by brother, John (Elsie) Adams, Fulsom, Pa.; brother-in-law, Edward Morin, Mt. Holly, N.J.; numerous nieces and nephews. Employed by Chase Bag Co. of Philadelphia for 18 years. Member of St. Ladislas Catholic Church, St. Ladislas Senior Stars, Rainbow Lanes and Eastland Lanes Senior Citizens Bowling League, Knights of Columbus Council 5429 Women's Auxiliary.
