Michael Banks, 73, of Hayden, passed away on October 5, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in 1948, son of the Herschel Banks and Norma McNeil Irvine in Seymour.
Michael graduated from Jennings County High School and went on to serve in the Navy. He was retired from Cummins Engine Company. He enjoyed bowling, drag racing, coon hunting, playing cards with family, and working on projects with his son.
Michael is survived by his children, Michael 'Troy" (Sherry) Banks, Melissa (Fitz) Silvey, Nicole McKay and Melanie (Raphael) Solomon; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; mother.
He is preceded in death by his father; brother Raymond Banks and sister Sheila Hardwick.
In keeping with Michael's wishes, cremation is being provided
