A funeral service for Robert N. Watts, 76, of Utica, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Utica Presbyterian Church, 9 S. Main St., with the Rev. Dallas Dryburgh officiating. Burial will be in Southlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Watts, owner of Watts Restaurant, died June 18, 2000, at his residence. He was born March 21, 1924, in Utica, to the late Herbert R. and Samaria (Nickel) Watts.
Mr. Watts graduated from Utica High School and the Ohio State University with a BFA. He was a member of Ohio Restaurant Association, National Restaurant Association, and was a former commercial artist with Continental Can in Mount Vernon.
He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law, Steven E. and Jane Watts of Newark, and Gregory A. and Sharon Watts of Shaker Heights; sisters, Betty Scheidt of Dana Point, Calif., and Evelyn Boyd of Westerville; and grandchildren, Bradley (Kelly) Watts of El Paso, Texas, Andrea Watts of Newark, and Katherine, Caroline, and Andrew Watts of Shaker Heights.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jane (Clark) Watts, who died October 7, 1998.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Law-Baker Funeral Home, 34 N. Main St., Utica.
