Crystal Dawn Williams Harper, 50 went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 9, 2021. A visitation will be held 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 11, 2021, at Ray Funeral Home Cleveland, MS. A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Ray Funeral Home in Cleveland, MS with interment to follow at Adams Arbor Cemetery.
Crystal was born November 20, 1970, to Floyd & Laquieta Williams in Shelby, MS. She married Johnnie Lee Harper August 3, 1993, in Lake Village, AR. Crystal loved to sew it made her happy most days, she would carry her sewing bag with her. Crystal had a heart of gold and could never tell anyone no, she loved to help whenever and however she could. Family was very important to her. She loved to go shopping for her grandkids. Crystal loved spending time and fishing at the lake house in Beulah, MS, with her family. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving and Christmas because she got to be around her family. Crystal would play cards with her family so much that she would stay up till 2 or 3 a.m. every time you would see Crystal she was sleeping somewhere; she was like a baby who had their nights and days mixed up. She enjoyed riding in the 18wheeler with her husband, Johnnie. Crystal had two very vest friends in her life which was Phyllis, her sister and Susie she knew she could always count on them no matter the circumstance they were always there. You would not ever argue with Crystal, because you would not come out on the winning side. When she was mad, she would walk away or leave. Crystal worked at Pace Pentecostal Church for over 10 years. This is where her and Susie Soliz became best friends. She hasn't been able to work the last 8 years due to health issues. Crystal was always late for everything. If you told her to be there by 10, she was going to show up an hour late every time. I always told her she was going to be late for her own funeral one day I was going to make sure of it. She told me I better not, but I would tell her well it wouldn't be your funeral if you weren't late.
She is predeceased by her father, Floyd Williams; grandparents, Leroy & Aline Mann and Loyd & Sophia Williams; uncles, Gallen Mann, Carl Mann, Roy Lee Mann, and Carl Williams; aunts, Twyla Hunter and Eyvone Grant.
