Formerly of Grayson, GA. Daughter of Delbert and Hulda Woodward. She married World War II veteran and educator, Wayne W Crosby, Sr. in 1945. She taught middle school for the city of Rochester, NY. She later transferred to Ontario Central School System, where she was a Kindergarten teacher until she retired in 1984. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Fairport, NY, where she served as a Sunday school teacher. Once they moved to Georgia, they became members of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Snellville, and later the Presbyterian Church in Commerce. She was a member of the Seniors Group at Eastside Hospital, Meals on Wheels, a long time member of the Atlanta Miniature Society, Gwinnett Miniature Society, and the Quilting Club in Jefferson, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 56 years. Surviving are her son, Wayne W Crosby, Jr. (Phyllis); daughter, Constance Higgins (Robert); grandchildren, Kirsten Glowaski (Michael), Brian Crosby (Emily), Todd Crosby (Cynthia Bray), and Kendra Flanagan (Brett); great-grandchildren, Joe Glowaski (Rachael), Kaitlyn Ruiz (Trystan), Kourtney Glowaski, Kiley Glowaski, Reid Carr, Hunter Crosby, Wesley Flanagan, Bowen Crosby, Knox Crosby, and Aubrey Flanagan; and brothers in-law, Howard Crosby, Sr. and Rev. Walter Crosby (Bonnie).
