Jeffery David Williams, Sr., 56, of Mount Pleasant, SC lost his battle with cancer on October 9, 2021. He was a Wayne County native and a 1983 graduate of Wayne County High School. Jeff considered being a father to be his greatest accomplishment in life. His children called their daddy a superhero.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Heidi Ray Williams of Mt. Pleasant, SC.; three daughters, Pebbles (Darrell) Bargeron of Jesup, GA. Victoria (David) Wittsack of Ladson, SC., and Abigail Williams of Mt. Pleasant, SC.; one son, Jeffery David Williams, Jr. of Mount Pleasant, SC.; his parents, David and Sandra Williams of Jesup; sister, Denise (William) Bennett of Jesup; a brother, Andrew Williams of Atlanta, GA.; two grandchildren, Darren and Dustin Bargeron; a nephew, William Crews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from Faith Chapel with Pastor James Carter officiating. Graveside service will follow in Pinecrest Memorial cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Jeffery Williams, Darrell Bargeron, Andrew Williams, David Whittsack, Chase Thornton and William Crews.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Faith Chapel.
