DR. MORRIS JACOBS, 90, of Atlanta died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2007.
Graveside services were held Nov. 19 at Crest Lawn Memorial Park with Rabbi Judith Beiner officiating.
Dr. Jacobs was a past president of the Georgia Optometric Association, a member of Fulton Lodge 216, a 32nd-degree Scottish Rite Mason and a member of the Yaarab Temple.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Julia Boaz Jacobs.
Survivors include wife Jackie Jacobs; sons and daughter-in-law Daniel Jacobs and Jody Sloan and Gary Jacobs, all of Atlanta; sister and brother-in-law Evelyn and Ray Levin of Raleigh, N.C.; brothers and sisters-in-law Irving and Jewel Jacobs of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and Charles and Joan Jacobs of Philadelphia; grandchildren Lisa Connolly, Michelle Shepherd, Jessica Jacobs, Joshua Jacobs, Jared Jacobs and Jennifer Halpern; stepsons Drew Haight and Ron Haight and his wife, Robin; step-grandchildren David, Andrew and Austin Haight; and seven great-grandchildren.
