Diana was a life long resident of Bolivar, NY until moving to Southaven, MS a year before her passing.

Diana is survived by 5 children.

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. - Diana L. Gordon, 59, of 5727 Steffani Drive, and a former Bolivar, N.Y., resident, passed away Saturday (Oct. 9, 2021) at the home of her niece, Michelle Chambers, of a heart attack.

Diana was born Feb. 20, 1962, in Wellsville, NY, and was the daughter of Donald and Doris Weimer Stives.

She was a graduate of Bolivar Central School, Class of 1980, and received an Associate in Culinary Arts from Alfred State College.
Diana was a former employee of the Market Basket Grocery Store, Bolivar. Later she was employed as the Deli Manager at Tops Supermarket, Wellsville, N.Y., retiring after 25 years of service. Following her retirement, Diana was a substitute teacher at Scio (N.Y.) Central School.
Diana was a volunteer with the Bolivar-Richburg football program, and was the coordinator of the concession stand. She was a member of the Bolivar Fire Dept.
Diana enjoyed traveling, crafts, baking and especially spending time with her family.

Surviving are five children, George (Adrian Lamb) Robarts (34) of Lake City, Fla., Melody Robarts (32) of Friendship, N.Y., Kaitlyn Gordon (27) of Southaven, Brittany Gordon (26) Southaven and Brooke (Jack) Doxey (26) of Scio; five grandchildren, Mayson, Courtlie, Brynleigh, Khloe and Alaia; three brothers, Terry (Anne) Stives Dayton, Texas, Donald Stives Jr. of Port Republic, Va. and Timothy (Connie) Stives of Williamsville, N.Y.; one sister, Freda Zeluf of Bolivar; several (12) nieces and nephews, including Michelle Chambers (her children Bryttanie and Daeman) of Southaven; 16 grand-nieces and grand-nephews; and sister-in-law, Cindy (Ken) Moore of Bolivar, 3 uncles, 3 aunts and many cousins.

Predeceased in death by her parents, Donald Stives, Sr. December 5, 2012 and Doris Stives December 15, 2012, 2 nephews Blair and Blaine Barrett, August 16, 1980 and her paternal and maternal grandparents.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday (Oct. 15, 2021) at the Schaffner Funeral Home, Inc., Bolivar. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 16, 2021). Burial in Maple Lawn Cemetery in Bolivar.
