David was born August 4, 1966, in Catawba County, to Frank Lawrence Duncan and Peggy Faulkner Duncan. He worked as the owner of Duncan's Auto Repair in Lincolnton. David was a friend to all, the kind of man who would give a complete stranger the shirt off of his back. His smile and laughter was contagious, one of his most memorable qualities.
Left to cherish his memory are two sons Justin Shane Duncan of Cherryville, Tyler Cole Duncan and wife Amanda Duncan of Lincolnton; daughter Rachel Elaine Duncan of Vale; parents Peggy Faulkner Duncan and Frank Lawrence Duncan; sisters Dana Mayes and Denise Houser; many nieces and nephews, and a grandson on the way.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Highland Drive Free Will Baptist Church in Lincolnton, with Pastor Luke Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the church prior to the service.
