Stanley E. (Red) Vaughn 86, passed away March 21, 2014 in the NYS Veterans Home in Oxford, NY. He is survived by his wife Patricia and sister Eleanor Sweeney; two sons, Gary Vaughn, Patrick (Sandra)Vaughn; six stepchildren, Michael (Bonita) Tripp, Kathi(Keith) Snyder, David Tripp, Karin (Ken) Hugaboom, Cheryl Whelan, and Jayne (Brad) Arnold; two grandchildren, nine step grandchildren, three step great grandchildren. He was retired from Amphenol Sidney. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII; a member of Submarine Veterans of WWII, Submarine Veterans Inc., American Legion Post 0183 for 57 years, Elks Club of Sidney. He will be remembered by many for the stories he loved to tell. As per Stan's wishes there will be no viewing or services.
