William ''Chipmunk'' Weaver, a resident of Mount Vernon, Alabama, passed away Friday, October 08, 2021. He was 50 years. He drove a log truck for many years and loved to spend time with his family, especially his daughter and grandchildren. He enjoyed fishing in his spare time. Loved by many, Mr. Good-looking, Hard-working Man. William was preceded in death by his mother, Judy Faye Weaver; father, Leonard Weaver; sister, Janie Weaver; nephews, Nathan and Bryant. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Mary Weaver; daughters, Mackenzie Weaver (Dalton Reed) and Marianah Valladares; grandchildren, Daythan and Dayzlin; sisters, Evie Reed (Dennis), Maxine Sullivan, and Rose Mary Sullivan; special nieces, Brandy Reid (Robbie) and Missy K Davis; step father, Ledward Sullivan; step siblings, Jessica, Andrew, and Adam; mother and father-in-law who he looked up to as parents after his parents passed away, Richard and Ola Davis; a host of nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends. A wake will be held for William from 6pm until 9pm Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Freeman Funeral Home. Rosary will begin at 5:30pm. The Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 11am Thursday, October 14, 2021, at St. Theresa Catholic Church with Rev. John Coghlan, celebrant. Burial will follow in Byrd Cemetery.
