CROFT, Roger Dawson - 78, Western Head, Queens Co., passed away at home with his family by his side on June 10, 2004. Born in Western Head, he was a son of the late William and Francis (Gerhardt) Croft. He worked for the gypsum company for 25 years and Steel and Engine of Liverpool until he retired. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch No. 38, Liverpool. He is survived by his wife, Pat (Bray); daughter, Michelle (Dean) Castle Millet, Alta.; sons, Michael (Rosalie) and Ronald (Tina), both of Western Head; three grandchildren; sisters, Verna (Morris) White, Western Head; Viola (Irving) Henley, Halifax; brothers, Avery (Jean), William "Bim" (Joan), both of Western Head. He was predeceased by his infant son, William, and sister, Alice. A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 13, in The Salvation Army Church, Liverpool, Captain Bingle officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Anglican Cemetery, Western Head. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army or a charity of choice.
