Joshua Carver was born June 18, 1987, in Portland. He was a house painter and later a choker setter for Risseuw Logging. He also lived in Lafayette, McMinnville, Hubbard and Molalla.
Survivors include his mother, Cathleen Lent; father, Kenneth; brother, Bobby; sister, Tanya; grandparents, Kenneth and Fay Carver; grandmother, Lauraine Lent; and fiancee, Dawnyal Funk.
