DWAYNE EUGENE WALKER "BEN", 50, of Roanoke, VA departed this life on Tuesday, September 4, 2018. He was born May 23, 1968 in Roanoke, VA to Linda Diane Walker and the late Vincent Finney. He was a star basketball player in Roanoke with an UNBELIEVABLE left hand! He attended Saint Pauls College on an athletic scholarship for basketball. Ben was a God fearing servant who was a member of Garden of Prayer #7 where he sang on the Men's Choir.



Ben became a resident of Henrico County, VA in 2017 where he worked as a licensed-professional Barber at Nu Look Hair Design. Ben was loved by all and never met a stranger. He was always the life of the party and would dance the night away.



Those left to cherish his memory are his two daughters, Chelsirae Walker, Dallas, TX and Alonna Medley, Lexington, SC; step-son, Chad W. McNeill, Lexington, SC; granddaughter, Skylar Murphy, Dallas TX; mother, Linda D. Walker; sister, Tawanda Walker, nephew, Imonte' Walker, neice, Desiree' Walker, all of Roanoke, VA and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held 11am Wednesday September 12, 2018 at Garden of Prayer No 7 COGIC
