Debra Dee "Debbie" Williams, age 63, of Knoxville, went to be with her heavenly Father early Friday morning, October 8, 2021, at her home surrounded by her daughters after a very long illness.

Debbie was born on July 31, 1958 in Las Vegas, Nevada to Richard Mercer and Freda Turner Mercer. She was a graduate of Powell High School. Debbie worked in the service industry for many years. She loved jewelry, writing and her chihuahua named Bella.

Debbie is preceded in death by her husband, David Williams.

She is survived by daughters, Stephanie Hollifield and Whitnie Williams both of Knoxville; mother, Freda Mercer of Murfreesboro; father and stepmother, Richard and Karen Mercer of Charleston, West Virginia; sister and brother-in-law, Tracey and Randall Patterson of Murfreesboro; several nieces, nephews, great niece, and great nephews, as well as many aunts and uncles.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday at Piney Grove Cemetery.
