Norman White, born on September 15 in 1958 to a comfortable and successful family in North York, Toronto, Ontario. He was the 2nd of 3 children born to Denis White and Margaret "Peggy" White (nee Smith). He went to Owen Public School, then Upper Canada College where he was part of the class of 1977. He was an employment Lawyer.

His hobbies included traveling, watching movies, Star Trek, and sports. He played squash competitively and was an A level player. He won many awards at the Granite Club in Toronto. He has a memorial award in his name which is presented every year for excellent sportsmanship.

He was diagnosed with chronic lymphatic leukemia in about 1990. He later married my mother, Kim Stoll, in July of 1991. He had a very happy and joyful marriage to my mom. He fought his battle with all he had an he didn't want to go. He survived a bone marrow transplant which was a very risky process. I was very little when he lost his battle in 1999. He was 40 years old.

He is loved and terribly missed by his family, friends, colleagues and all who knew him. I'm really sad that I never got to know him. I sometimes get emotional about it. I've lived most of my life without him, but I still have a special place in my life for him.

We love you Dad! We will never forget you!! <3
