This is my Grandfather. Born in a small town in Germany called Usedom, he the eldest of nine children. He was in the German Navy during World War II and survived a submarine sinking in 1945.

He met my grandmother in Carnoustie, Scotland. He lived with my grandmother in Scotland for several years and he spoke English with a Scottish accent. They had their first child, Drew Lamb Stoll in 1950.

He and my grandmother immigrated to Canada in 1958 to the city of Montreal. He served in the Canadian Army for 10 years and then was a warehouse manager. He also served in the Airforce Reserve. They had their second child, my mother, Kim Elaine Stoll in 1961. Before the Quebec Referendum, they moved to Toronto in 1976.

He had a happy and successful life, with a successful marriage and a loving family. He is missed by all.
