Sharon was born to parents, Mary and Scott Turner. She was married to Frankie Monroe Peterka for 27 years, then widowed. She was then married to Willie W. Taylor from 1996-2018, then widowed. She attended John Peter Smith School of vocational Nursing. Until her retirement, Sharon worked at JPS for 17 years following her graduation. She loved painting, shopping, traveling, cooking, and was active with her church. Sharon is preceded in death by her husbands, Frankie Peterka, Willie W. Taylor; parents, Mary and Scott Turner; son, Robert Peterka; daughters, Kathleen Krieff, and Joy Peterka. Survived by daughter, and husband, son, daughter in law, six grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Sharon was a very loving wife and mother. She made friendships that lasted a lifetime.
