Norma Carson entered into eternal life in Heaven on March 10, 2016 at the age of 86. She was resident of the Summit Lake area, and passed away in Illinois.

She was born July 30, 1929 in Chicago, daughter of the late William and Ruth (Phillips) Wayne. She was a frequent visitor to Duck Lake from the age of 3, and permanently moved there in 1985.

Ms. Carson was a homemaker. She also worked at a tennis club and cared for her mother. She enjoyed sports, especially golf and tennis.

Survivors include 2 daughters, Gail (James) Wetmore of Gaylord, MI; and Claire (Stephen) Doster of Frankfort, IL; 5 grandchildren, Rebecca (Tim) Lewis, Matthew (Sarah) Wetmore, Jennifer Doster, Stephen (Meredith) Doster, and Greggory Doster; and 7 great grandchildren, Samantha, Eli, Jack, Levi, Bode, Aniston, and Ashton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Tuch, and a brother, Richard Wayne.
