Donald L. Schneider, age 79, of Thornton, CO passed away on Tuesday September 21, 2021, at St. Anthony North Hospital in Westminster, CO. Donald was born on March 11, 1942 in Greeley, CO. to parents Alex and Doris Schneider (both deceased). Donald is survived by a brother Gary Schneider (wife Judy Schneider), and sister Linda Blehm (husband Richard Blehm deceased).

Donald had many different talents and skills throughout his lifetime. He was a great provider for his family and will always be remembered as having a strong work ethic. He loved driving a truck over the road early on in his marriage. However, for most of his life he worked as an electrician and then started his own electrical company that he had for 25+ years. Donald will always be remembered as a fun, loving and adventurous person. He was a man of courage and strength in many different ways. He loved the farm life where he grew up, cars, motorcycles, traveling, nature as well as God, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Connie Sue Naibauer Schneider, whom he was married to for 47 ½ years. He is also preceded in death by his grandson Justin Drake.

Donald is survived by his four children: Cynthia Megrenne(husband Gary Megrenne) , Deanna Gunnels (husband Ron Gunnels), Michelle Prinzler (husband Eric Prinzler), Mike Schneider (wife Becky Schneider); His seven grandchildren Ashley Lacea (husband Johan Lacea), Jennifer Atherton(husband Stephen Atherton), Zachary Gunnels, Brittany Prinzler, Preston Prinzler, Amanda Prinzler and Madison Schneider; and his five great grandchildren Brody Lacea, Malachi Atherton, Savannah Lacea, Amarah Atherton, Jaxton Lacea, as well as many other relatives including nieces and nephews.

A private viewing and Committal will take place for his family and Donald will be laid to rest at Arvada Cemetery in Arvada, Colorado. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when all his family and friends can be together.
