Jacqueline Dannette Matthews, 73, of Amarillo, TX died Thursday, October 7, 2021.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 11, 2021, at River Road Baptist Church. Burial will be at Claude Cemetery in Claude, TX. Arrangements are by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors, 2800 Paramount Blvd.

Jackie was born August 18, 1948, in Deming, NM to John and Alma Ward. She was a member of and taught Awanas at River Road Baptist Church for several years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David Matthews; and a great-grandson, Ryder Lane Mears.

Survivors include three daughters, Brandy Ratliff and husband Scott, Briss Matthews, and Brie Gantt, all of Amarillo, TX; a son, Bryan Matthews and wife Ashley, of Stratford, TX; a brother, Stacy Ward of Amarillo, TX; a sister, Janet Cooper, of Clarendon, TX; twelve grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
