- Louisa (1867-1939)
- Harriet (1872-1936)

George Maurer's death was reported in the Elmira Signet newspaper on December 18, 1913:
Death came very suddenly, Dec. 10th, after only a day's illness, to Mr. George Maurer, senior, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Koehn, Berlin [now Kitchener]. Deceased would have reached his 89th birthday had he lived until the 29th day of this month. He was sick only one day, death being due to the infirmities of advanced age. He was born in Germany, coming to this country and living for a number of years at North Woolwich on a farm. Nearly 20 years ago, he retired from farming, making his home in Elmira. Five weeks ago he went to Berlin to stay with Mrs. Koehn. Seven children are left to mourn the loss of their father. They are: Michael of Paisley; Mrs. Andrew Filsinger, Berlin; Mrs. Henry Bolender, Elmira; Mrs. Martin Straub, Berlin; George, Woolwich; Mrs. Otto Kehn [sic], Berlin and Mrs. Chris Dreisinger, Elmira. The funeral took place on Saturday last, the remains being buried in the North Woolwich cemetery.
