Anna Mariah Clement was the daughter of Zephaniah Clement and his first wife, Elizabeth Minter. Anna Mariah was the full sister of Stephen D. Clement; her husband (Godfrey P. Jones) was Stephen's wife Leanna Jones' brother. Zephaniah Clement's second wife, Dorothy Jones, was Godfrey and Leanna's sister. The three Jones siblings were the children of Thomas and Leanna (Jones) Jones.
Four of the the names of Godfrey and Anna Mariah's four children have been found in a lawsuit, and now we know they were closely bonded, as they migrated together and lived close by each other for the better part of 80 years. We have also found several intermarriages among their descendants.
