Shirley Jean Wilcox-Lee, 82, of Lumberton, passed away on October 7, 2021 surrounded by her family.
She was born on June 20, 1939 in Robeson County, NC.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, James Wilcox and Hermie Smith-Wilcox; three brothers: Charles Wilcox, James Wilcox, and Glenn Wilcox; and one sister, Lois Jackson.
She is survived by her daughter, Paula Kaye Lee-Price of the home; her granddaughter, Lauren Parker (Caleb Johnson) of Lumberton; her great-granddaughter, Lani Townsend of Lumberton; her sisters: Barbara Allen (Larry) of Lumberton, Betty Pittman of Lumberton, Patricia Clark of Raeford, and Margaret Freeman of Hope Mills; three brothers: Curtis Wilcox (Bertha) of St. Pauls, Donnie Wilcox (Nancy) of St. Pauls, and Bobby Wilcox of St. Pauls; her sister-in-law, Peggy Wilcox of St. Pauls; her niece, Irene Allen (Terry) of Trenton; a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members; and her granddog, Zoey.
The funeral services will be held in Long Branch Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Broadwell officiating. The burial services will follow at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton.
