Norina R, 10.
Irene, 6.
Ethel, 2.
James E, 7 mos.

Grandpa registered for the WWI Draft in 1917, but there is no proof he actually served. On his registration, he listed his birth year as 1879, in his own handwriting. Grandpa owned and operated a meat market.

My Dad never knew his father since Grandpa passed away just two weeks after my Dad was born. Grandpa was laid to rest on 22 Oct 1926.

The Indianapolis Star, 26 Oct 1926, Tue, Pg 4
"DEATHS
John F. Mosier, 50, City Hospital, diabetes mellitus."

Note: Grandpa was aged only 47 years when he died. Death certificate has year of birth as 1876, but when Grandpa completed his WWI Draft registration, he wrote 1879 as his birth year, which also concurs with census records.
