David Anthony Lockett, 44, entered into eternal peace on October 4, 2013. He was born on May 15, 1969 in Englewood, NJ. David graduated Central High School in Bridgeport in 1987 and attended Howard University in Washington, D.C. Always looking for the next adventure, David relocated to Los Angeles and worked in the accounting profession until his health prevented him from doing so. In 2009, David returned home to be closer to family. He was predeceased by his late father Julius Lockett. He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved partner of 11 years and long caregiver, Jeramie Gladman of Monroe CT; cousin ("sister") and caregiver Tracey Hayes of Monroe CT; mother Gloria Lockett of Monroe CT; brother Julius Alfred Lockett of New Haven CT; brother Gerald Lockett and sister-in-law Kerieanne of Buffalo, NY; uncle Elmore Hayes of Newark NJ; aunt Delores Speight of Austin TX; uncle Kenneth Butler of St. Petersburgh FL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Funeral Service will take place Friday at 11am at the Spadaccino and Leo P. Gallagher & Son Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, CT. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, 500 Moose Hill Road, Monroe, CT. Friends may greet the family, Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 5pm-8pm at Spadaccino and Leo P.
