She was born February 13, 1937 in Houston, a daughter of Andrew and Elizabeth Martin. She was a member of St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Church, and recently attended Mass at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, in Meadowlands.
Elizabeth loved baking, and enjoyed volunteering to bake nut rolls at St. Michael's. She enjoyed bowling, playing cards with her card club, and was active with her community. She attended the Chartiers Senior Center, where she served as secretary, and was active with the Relay For Life, where she was on the committee for 20 years. She especially enjoyed time spent with her family, and loved attending her grandchildren's activities and sporting events.
On September 10, 1960, she married her husband of over 35 years, Francis S. Sebastian, who passed away September 26, 1995.
Surviving are her sons, Stephen A. (Judith) Sebastian, of Sharpsburg, Georgia, Darrin E. (Melissa) Sebastian, of Moon Township; daughters, Kathleen M. (Mark) Belfiore, of Houston, Susan F. (Frank) Vulcano, of Houston; her sister Theresa Timan, of Canonsburg; grandchildren, Breanne (Zack) Galasso, Danielle (David) Cass, Garrett Vulcano, Jenna Vulcano, Julia Vulcano, Ian Sebastian, Elizabeth Sebastian, Gavin Sebastian; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, Elizabeth was preceded in death by her brothers, Edward, Andrew, John, Joseph, and Robert Martin; and her sisters, Carolyn Fela, and Majorie Medofer.
Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday, at the Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services, LTD, 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, 724-746-1000.
Departing prayers will be said in the funeral home, at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, followed by a Mass of Christian burial, in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, at 10 a.m..
Interment will follow in the Queen of Heaven Cemetery, McMurray.
