Simon "Junior "Cline Jr. September 16, 1968 - October 03, 2021

Simon "Junior" Cline Jr., 53, of Grover, S.C. passed away October 3, 2021, at his home, following a short battle with Cancer.

He was born September 16, 1968, in McDowell County, West Virginia, son of the late Simon and Frances Cline.

Junior was the type of person that left a great impression on anyone he met.

He was an employee with Cherokee Masonry for many years, where he met many friends along the way.

He loved the outdoors, especially being in the woods bowhunting with his son Wesley and brother Billy.

The family would like to thank everyone that has been there throughout his battle. Whether it was a phone call, visits, words of encouragement or whatever act of kindness was shown to Junior.

A viewing for Junior will be held 6-8 pm Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, N.C.

Junior's wishes were to be cremated and there will be no other services after the viewing.

Junior is survived by his loving wife, Tabatha Cline; sons, Christopher Cline, Brett Cline and wife Breanna; stepsons, Raymond Piper and wife Borey, Nathan Piper and wife Wendy, Wesley Piper and wife Kassie; four brothers, Billy Cline and wife Connie, David Cline and wife Brenda, Kevin Cline and wife Brandy, Jerry Cline and wife Lori; sister, Linda Cline; four grandsons, , Christian Cline, Xavier Cline, Cyrus Cline, Logan Piper; aunt, Brenda Gibson and husband Roger; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, Junior was preceded in death by brothers, Ronald Cline, Reece Stuckey Jr.; sister, Tammy Cline; maternal grandparents, William Dawson, Donna Dawson Auville; paternal grandparents, Mike and Sythia Cline; step-grandfather, Clarence Auville; several aunts and uncles.
