Mrs. Brenda D. King, 73, of Pooler, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at St. Joseph's Hospital from complications with congestive heart failure.

She was born in Welch, West Virginia to the late Gerald Davis and Betty Osborne Davis. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Clifford King; daughter, Janie and her husband Kevin; son, Q. Jerry and his wife Audrey; grandchildren, Rebekah, Logan, Nian and Jacquelyn; brothers, Randall, Chris, and Kelly, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Beyond her natural family, she is survived by a plethora of spiritual children and friends who were touched by her life and walk with God. She was a homemaker, not only for her biological children but for many, many more who basked in her love and support.

She spent her life in prayer and example for others, always seeking Jesus in every situation. And as much as she loved those here on earth, she is now celebrating and rejoicing with her savior in heaven.

The family will be receiving friends on Friday, August 13th from 1 until 2 p.m. at the funeral home. The memorial service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel of the funeral home. A bigger celebration of life honoring will take place in a few months.
