Janice Elaine Sutton, 73, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 21, 2021.

Janice was born in Augusta, Georgia and spent many years in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Langley, SC, before returning back home to Augusta.

She was a loving sister, daughter, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She cherished time with her children and her "Angel Babies". She loved her foster grandchildren and wanted them to know they held a very special place in her heart. She was a most beloved "Ganma".

Janice was devoted to her parents and spent many, many years as the sole caregiver for them both, setting aside her own needs out of pure love for them. Janice also played an integral role in the success of Mitchum Interiors of Langley, SC.

Janice created a warm and inviting home that made everyone feel like "home." She adored Dolly Parton and her first and forever love, Elvis Presley. She always played Elvis records and Elvis Radio. Always looking forward to visiting his home in Graceland; she just loved everything Elvis. She enjoyed watching the Bulldogs with her daddy and she was a Braves fan.

Janice is survived by her daughters, Sherry Shaw Anderson (Scott), and Angie Bogan; brothers, George H. Sutton (Debbie) and Bryan Sutton (Kathy); sister, Tammy Sutton Little (Nelson); grandchildren, Shelbi Anderson King (Jared), Anna-Brooke Anderson, Alexis Swaniec, Jennifer Shaw Ogles (Robert), Amity Hope Shaw, and Charles Barry Shaw, Jr.; and many great grandbabies.

She is predeceased by her parents, George H. Sutton, Sr., and Loriene Murphy Sutton; son, Charles Barry Shaw; brother, Rick Sutton; and sister, Jackie Sutton.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Pastor Bryan Cockrell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
