Mark Richard Janszen, passed away at 66 years of age on October 6, 2021 in Katy, Texas. Mark was born on September 6, 1955 in Aransas Pass to Charles Victor and Mary Ellen (Vastine) Janszen. He grew up in Houston, Texas and moved to Sealy, Texas in 1970. Shortly after his graduation from Sealy ISD in 1975, he started working for Koy Concrete. In his 20 years of employment her was a mixer truck driver and later took over the responsibility of dispatcher.

Mark met his soulmate and best friend, Lisa Ann Robison, in the summer of 1977 while riding his motorcycle around the small town of Sealy. On March 20, 1981, they were married at the First United Methodist Church of Sealy. Mark and Lisa had two sons together, Jason Lee and Scott Richard Janszen.

Mark made many friends throughout the years as a Sealy resident. He was known for his pleasant personality and witty sense of humor.

Over the years Mark would selflessly help many family members in their time of need. He took over the family business of J&W's Crosstie Sandwich Shop when his father's health stated to deteriorate and stayed with them until their closure back in 2004. He also helped his wife with her family by moving into his father-in-law's house with Lisa to help her care for Mr. Robison for six years.

Mark enjoyed being with his family. He loved taking numerous road trips with his wife, Lisa, especially to the Great Smoky Mountains and the Blue Ridge Parkway when the fall foliage was at it's peak. He always loved having his whole family together for holidays and birthdays. His granddaughters, of course, were always his pride and joy. Mark will truly by missed by all.
