Richard McKinley Rogers

Richard "Dick" Rogers, age 92 of Wenatchee WA, died May 28, 2017 after a long illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Bonnie Rogers of Wenatchee, WA; his brother Theodore "Ted" Rogers of Yakima, WA; and his son Richard "Greg" Rogers of Mount Lake Terrace, WA. He is survived by his wife of 27 years Lillian, brother Robert J. Rogers (Lois) of Union, WA, daughter Patricia "Patty" Rogers Herbst (Ronald), and grandchildren Nicholas Rogers Herbst and Annabelle Rogers. He was greatly loved by his family, extended family, and friends.

Dick was a WWII Navy Veteran, graduate of Eastern Washington College, and worked for many years in Seattle, first as an Educator and later for Pemco Insurance. A lifetime lover of sports, especially Baseball, Basketball, and Golf, he led an active and long life. He was a loving husband, father, and brother, a generous kind hearted person, and he lived his life with a keen sense of humor and an optimistic outlook.

He will be dearly missed.
