Francis Tullis was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, February 7, 1852 and departed from this life at his home near Keysor, Colorado at the age of 74 years, 7 months and 4 days. Mr. Tullis came to Colorado in the year 1904. He was married to Lola S. Schnars August 23, 1880. To this union was born seven children. All except one surviving him. Those who are left to mourn his death are his wife, Mrs. Lola Tullis, four sons, Jessie, Arnold, Allen and Vernon. Two daughters, Mrs. William Mowat and Mrs. Ed Ager. Also three brothers and one sister and other relatives and friends.

The service was held in the Eagle Bluff Free Methodist Church Monday, October 5, 1925 about 3:00 P.M. The funeral service was conducted by Rev. O.E. Howell. Text Psalms 103:14, 15, 16.

Internment was made in Mountain View Cemetery.

Note: There were two Frank Tullis' in Illinois circa 1870. They were 2nd cousins and both sons of a David Tullis. It appears the two were mixed up in later genealogy research. After finding this obit, I am attempting to straighten out history. The tombstone was created based on incorrect info.
