Graveside services for Mr. Ernest Taylor, age 80, of Webster's Chapel, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Dickinson Family Cemetery with Brother Mike Yates officiating the service. The family will receive friends Saturday at Glencoe Hokes Bluff Funeral Home from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Mr. Taylor passed away on Wednesday October 6, 2021. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Myrtle Taylor, daughter, Shannon Nasser, brothers, Joe Taylor, James Taylor, Billy Taylor, and Gene Taylor, and his sister, Nancy Bonner.
Left to cherish the memory of Mr. Taylor are his daughters: Pat Hassel, and Amber Starks (Tracy); sons: Bryan Taylor (Carol), and Daniel Taylor (Jana); grandchildren: Ian Calderwood,, Zach Hassel, Chase Mills, Andre Starks, Moses Starkes, Jessica Peacock (Kris), Laney Taylor, Anthony Taylor, and Patrick Taylor; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters: Margaret Rich, Linda Huey, Faye Green and Sally Golden; brothers: Johnny Taylor, Dean Taylor, Edward Lee Taylor, and Ray Taylor; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Taylor, Jonathan Green, Eric Campbell, Chase Mills, Jared O'Dell, and Daniel Taylor.
The family wishes to extend special thanks to Davita Hokes Bluff, Fresenius Kidney Care Oneonta, TLC Nursing Center Oneonta, and Encompass Home Health of Gadsden and Oneonta.
