Dona was a master florist and started as a floral designer at 18 years old until 1970, when she became co-owner of Ralph's Florist, in Leechburg. Dona loved flowers and loved her customers. Dona won many awards and taught floral design to many people. When Dona retired in 2000, she did not like retirement and went to work for Giant Eagle in the floral department for 20 more years. Dona's love for flowers and making people happy was her life. Dona was loved by all and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Dona is survived by her brother, Ralph Margini and Michael; three sisters, Nadine Himelinski and John, Arlene Ferraro and Dolores Holben and Jeffrey. In addition to her parents, Dona was preceded in death by her husband, William Grey.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday in the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688, where a parting prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Church with her pastor, the Rev. John B. Lendvai as celebrant. Burial will be in St. Catherine Cemetery, Gilpin Township.
