A 1956 graduate of West Snyder High School, Tomi moved to Harrisburg to attend The Thompson Business College. Upon graduation she began a nearly 40-year career as a commercial property underwriter for the Maryland Casualty Insurance Company. Tomi's faith and family were the center of her life. She was an active member of the Immanuel Christian and Missionary Alliance Church where she attended with Andy since their marriage in 1961. In recent years, she especially enjoyed her time with the Wednesday morning Women's Bible Study. Tomi was a master gardener, beach regular, avid reader, Nittany Lions fan, and fashionista extraordinaire. Serving her Savior and providing for her family were the objectives that drove her through life.
Remaining to celebrate her legacy are her only child, Joy (Karl, Sr.) and her beloved family, Karl Jr. (Ashley), Kristopher (Michelle), Joy (Chase), Kole, Lucy, Norah, Alice, Charlie, and her much loved nieces and nephews.
