He was the Armenian Ambassador to France 1995–1997 and 26 May 2009 until 6 October 2021, Belgium 1997 until 26 May 2009, the European Union 1997 until 27 May 2009, the Netherlands 1997 until 7 November 2009, Luxembourg 1997 until 20 February 2010, Andorra 14 June 2011 until 6 October 2021, Monaco 16 June 2011 until 6 October 2021 and the Holy See 20 February 2012 until 9 March 2013. During his years of service he received the following awards Mkhitar Gosh Medal (2001), Croix de guerre of Belgium (2009), Ordre national du Mérite (2011) and the Order For Merit to the Fatherland - 1st degree.
