"Ron Sherman, 50, of Gladstone, Mo., passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2009. Visitation will be from 11 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 18, at McGilley Antioch Chapel. Memorial Service will follow the visitation at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to American Cancer Society. Ron retired from Sprint where he worked as a Computer Software Engineer. He enjoyed the outdoors and was a member of Smithville Handicapped Hunting and Fishing. Ron also enjoyed boating and classic rock and roll. Ron is preceded in death by his father, Bill Sherman; sister, Sandra Wiseman; and grandmother, Juanita Robertson. Ron is survived by his daughter, Breanna Taylor; mother, Barbara Sherman; sister, Kelly Roberts; two nephews, Sam Settgast, Chad Wiseman; uncle, Robert McGaughey and a great nephew, Gavin Settgast."
