Terry Stone of First Assembly of God Church. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons Mitchell Morrison, Johnny Morrison, Chris Morrison, Dusty Morrison, Michael McNeal and T.J. McNeal. Honorary pallbearers will be great-grandsons Chad McNeil and Drew Adamson. Interment will follow in the Hulbert I.O.O.F. Cemetery under the care of Green Country Funeral Home.
Billie McNeil was born June 16, 1925, in Tahlequah, Okla., the daughter of Roy Robert and Audie Jane Phillips Hendricks. She passed from this life on April 8, 2005, in Tahlequah. Billie had worked at Lost City School and Hulbert Dairy Bar as a cook. She was known by everyone as Granny. On Oct. 8, 1946, she married Earl Leslie McNeil, in Ft. Smith, Ark. She always had Sunday dinner for anyone who came by, and always tried to feed everyone.
Billie McNeil is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Leslie McNeil; a son, Tommy Dale McNeil; a sister, Tommy Linch; and a brother, Raymond Hendricks.
Surviving her are her children, Bill and Linda, Gary and Sherry, Diane Cowden and Bart, Sharon Morrison, and Jerry Wayne McNeil; a brother, Cecil and wife Caroline Nottingham; grandchildren Michael McNeil, Nina McNeil, Chad McNeil, Kaley McNeil, Josh Cowden, Bridgett Cowden, Tressa Rush, Kim Adamson, Johnny Morrison, Mitchell Morrison, Tommy Jack McNeil; many great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones.
