A native of Waynesville, Georgia, Curt was born June 24, 1942 to the late Troy Douglas and the late Margaret Manor Douglas. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Daniel Douglas.
Curt was a Veteran, having served in the US Air Force. He lived most of his life in Brunswick, before moving to Lake Sinclair. He retired from Brunswick Pulp and Paper, and was a member of Hopewell United Methodist Church.
Curt is survived by his wife, Flo Williams Douglas of Milledgeville ; his sons, Arthur William "Art" Douglas (& Katie) of Peachtree City, and Kelly David Douglas (& Susan) of Bentonville, Arkansas ; his sister, Colleen Walden (& J.R.) of Brunswick ; his brothers, Harry Douglas of Plant City, Florida, and Wayne Douglas of Odum, Georgia; and his grandchildren, Emma Kate Douglas, Harper Douglas, William Douglas, and Buddy Douglas.
The family has requested that those who wish, make Memorial Contributions to Hopewell United Methodist Church – Local Fund, 188 Hopewell Church Road, Milledgeville, Georgia 31061.
