Mr. Brandon William Smith, age 36, of Fruithurst, AL, passed away October 6, 2021.

He was born September 28, 1985, in Carrollton, GA, to Becky Hammond Smith and the late Phillip Smith.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Opal Arnold and George and Dorothy Smith.

Brandon was a member of Fruithurst Baptist Church. He loved music. He loved all kinds of music, but his favorite band was Drive By Truckers. He was a very smart, artistic, and loved to read. He even wrote a chapter about the history of his favorite band that was published in their book.

Left to cherish the memory of Brandon are his four children, Layla Smith, Stella Smith, Aspen Smith and Cooley Smith; his mother, Becky Smith, of Fruithurst; a sister and brother-in-law, Heather and Danny Hulsey of Tallapoosa; a brother, Anthony Smith of Fruithurst; six nieces and nephews, Brittany, Chris, Bridget, Garrett, Kristen, and Jesse; and eight great-nieces and nephews, Anna Grace, Spencer, Carly, Micah, Mason, Colter, Carson, and Luke.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 10, 2021, at 3:00 PM EST from Miller Funeral Home Dogwood Chapel with Rev. James Owens officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00PM until the service hour.

Inurnment will follow aquamation services at a later date.
