Mrs. Melissa Maxine Smith Pearson, age 54 of East Brewton, AL, passed away Tuesday, October 5, 2021 in a Pensacola, Florida hospital.
Mrs. Pearson was a lifelong resident of Escambia County, AL. She was employed by Amedisys, and attended Appleton Assembly of God.
She is survived by her husband, Jack Pearson of East Brewton; mother, Mary (Ronnie) Dortch of East Brewton; sons, Jacob (Meagan) Pearson of Jay, FL, Jarrett Pearson of East Brewton; brothers, William Smith of East Brewton, Mark Smith of DeFuniak Springs, FL; sisters, Veronica (Anthony) Morgan of Brewton, Amanda Schafer of DeFuniak Springs, FL; two grandchildren, Jaxon Pearson, Matthew Pearson; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Appleton Assembly of God on Sunday, October 10, 2021 at 3:30 P.M. with Rev. Russ McDonald, Reve. Brian Garrett, and Rev. Joseph Jackie Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Hartwood Cemetery in Range, Alabama.
Pallbearers: Brad English, Hunter Paul, Chad Jerkens, Dusty Jerkins, Darell Nall, and Jeremy Langley.
