Phyllis Norma Lee
July 10, 1927 - October 5, 2021

Phyllis Norma Lee left us on October 5, 2021, and will be surely missed. She was born in Akron, Ohio on July 10, 1927 to the late Norman J. Deisz and Emma Staub Deisz. She passed away peacefully at the age of 94 surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Lee, Sr. and by all of her siblings. She is survived by her children, Barbara (Ray) Beauchamp, John H. (Belinda) Lee, Jr, Donald Lee, Linda Shelby, Bill Shelby and David Lee; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grand children and many more "adopted" children.

Phyllis had a love for flowers, nature, red birds and cooking however, she devoted the majority of her time to her family, dealing with hard heads. She worked at Ensley Heating and Air, the family business, as bookkeeper, receptionist and 'manager'. Mom was sweet, kind, loving and selfless.

We ask in lieu of flowers, you make a donation to your favorite charity, thank you.

But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; They shall run and not be weary; They shall walk and not fault
Isaiah 40:31

There will be a graveside service on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 1:00 pm located at Barrancas National Cemetery. If you plan to attend, you need to meet at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South. The procession will leave Faith Chapel at 12:00pm. Casual dress is fine.
