Mary Elizabeth Turley Sisney was the 3rd wife of William J. Sisney. Her parents are Benjamin Franklin "Dine" Turley and Margarett Barnett. Mary died in childbirth on March 9, 1901. Although the date of death on her tombone is illegible, Dr. F.M. Phillips of Baxter Co. AR gave an affidavit stating he was present when Mary died in childbirth on March 9, 1901.

Inscription
I believe the birth year inscribed on Mary's stone is "1861" although it has been read by some as "1864". There is a scratch on the "1" that gives the impression it is a "4" rather than "1". Her birth year as 1861 is also supported by the 1870 census which lists her as 9 years old.
